Thankful Day 6

Today I am thankful for my hubby and Miss Emma.

I woke up during the middle of the night with a migraine. I called for Boyd....who feel asleep in the living room. He didn't hear me but when I whistled Emma woke him up. :)

He brought me my meds and helped me to relax.

Of course Miss Em was worried about me and wanted to be as close to me as she could. sigh!

Thankful Day 5

Today I am thankful for some down time to cuddle with the dogs.

Emma spent the first half of the Iowa game in my lap with her head on my chest being my snuggle bunny. During my afternoon nap Buddie was curled up next to me.

I love cuddle time!

Thankful Day 4

Today I am thankful for friends that make me laugh.

Stressful day at work and when I made a comment on facebook a friend said she'd roll over toes if I needed her to.

Thankful Day 3

Today I am thankful for .....

my neighborhood. A quiet area between the river and a field. The neighbors are all friendly and help each other out when we can.

Thankful Day 2

Today I am thankful for the weather - my friend in CO had a snow day. We had a day full of rain and since the ground is still warm the water did not freeze. It was 38 driving home and it always makes me cautious.

Thankful Day 1

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaack ..... at least for November and maybe December for my annual thankful/december daily events.

Today I am so thankful that we live close to our vet and that they were willing to keep the office open a few more minutes for us.

Buddie has had a lot of trouble with his allergies this season and today was a continuation. I thought we were done for the year.

Now we have lots to think about between pills, allergy shots and what we can do for our poor boy.

I feel like a bad doggie mamma on days like today.

Journaling .....

Seeing this makes me wish I would have listened to my parents. I remember having a diary as a little girl and never knowing what to write.

I'm going to try and start tonight.....
