The weather outside was supposed to get frightful and I decided driving to work would be hazardous to my health. Thank goodness I didn't go as there was a big accident on the normal drive at the same time I usually hit the area. Sometimes things just have a way of working out.
Now my thoughts....I was thinking since everyone likes to see posts that I will start trying to post 3 or 4 times a week.
Monday - Recipe day - posting some of my favorite recipe and maybe meal plans if I get motivated.
Wednesday - Craft day
Friday - Organization & Cleaning tips day - more motivation to get me organized.
In between I'll still be posting my usual family kind of things. :)
So does that sound like a good list to start? Any thoughts or ideas on other things I should include?
Now I'm off to make a plan with ideas of what to do for the next month.

ah ha!
I've talked before about how I have trouble keeping things up at home and how I love dishes. One of my problems is the whole 'rule' that if you don't use it you should get rid of it. I have cabinets full of china and crystal that I've never used. Does that mean it should be gone? According to some people yes but I know that some day I'll use it.
Today I found this quote....
“Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.” ~ William Morris
This gives me inspiration and motivation to get my house in order. I own so many things I believe to be beautiful that many people would say I should get rid of. From the gloves & hat I wore as a kid to the twisty tie that Boyd proposed with - yes my initial engagement ring was a twisty tie and I will hold it close to my heart forever.
I know this will be a slow process and I'll have some stops and starts but I know that this year will be different and that this year I will get organized and feel comfortable in my house all (well most) of the time. My goal is to never stuff things in bags or boxes and stuff them in the closet when I'm in a hurry to get the house clean because company is coming.
So I'm starting with my kitchen, should start with the pantry but I think I'll choose something a bit easier like getting the counters cleared and keeping them clear for a week. Big challenge for us.
Gotta go for now. I can see the boy looking at my over the top of the lap top....and now he's edging his head into my lap and on the keyboard. Time to go outside and er play. :)
